Everything Soundweave does.
A tour of the app.
Strips on the left, buses on the right.
Inputs and buses share one view. Every strip has gain, pan, mute, solo, mono, a fader and a meter, and the A/B bus buttons sit right above it.

- Strips and buses. Hardware and virtual inputs; hardware (A) and virtual (B) buses. Add or remove them as you need.
- Mono and balance. Mono per strip and bus, balance on buses.
- Output limit. A brickwall ceiling per strip or bus.
- Two densities. Regular or compact, with meters before or after the fader.
- Mute all mics. One button mutes every hardware input.
- Panic. One button mutes every output bus.
Every route, with a send level.
Sources run down the side, buses across the top. A lit cell is an active route; click it to switch it on or off and set its send level. The matrix shows how many routes are active and lets you clear them all.

Six bands on every strip and bus.
Drag bands on the graph or turn their knobs. Pick from built-in presets, save your own, and compare with the live analyser before or after the EQ.

- Band types. High-pass (12 and 24 dB per octave), low shelf, bell, high shelf, low-pass and notch.
- Presets. Built-in presets, plus Save as for your own.
- Analyse my voice. Record about five seconds. Soundweave suggests up to five bands and a high-pass, with A/B before you apply.
- Private. The analysis runs on your PC. The recording stays there and is deleted after analysis.
Clean up the quiet, control the loud.
Every input strip has noise removal, a gate and a compressor; every bus has a compressor. Noise removal takes out steady background noise like fan hiss and hum from a microphone. Live meters show the reduction, the gate state and the gain reduction while you adjust.

- Noise removal. Per input strip. A Strength control from 0 to 100 percent and a live reduction meter. It adds about 20 ms of delay while it is on, and uses under 1 percent of one CPU core per microphone channel.
- Compressor. Threshold, ratio, attack, release, knee and make-up gain, with a gain-reduction meter.
- Gate. Threshold, attack, hold, release and range, with an open or closed indicator.
Your voice on top, automatically.
Mark a strip as a priority and choose which group it triggers. Other strips are lowered by the groups you pick, by the amount you set, and come back when the priority strip falls silent.

- Up to four groups. Different priority strips can duck different sets of strips.
- Chains allowed. When several groups duck a strip, the deepest duck wins.
- Toolbar switch. Turn ducking on or off from the mixer, or with a hotkey.
Record any strips and buses.
Tick the lines you want, choose how to save them, and press Record. Soundweave shows a timer, the size of every file and how much disk space is left.

- Three modes. Separate (one file per line), Combined (one mix of the ticked lines) or Both.
- Sample-aligned. All files of a take start on the same sample.
- Post- or pre-fader. Record what you hear, or the source before the fader.
- FLAC 24-bit. Lossless and small. Files land in Documents\Soundweave Recordings unless you change it.
Audio devices for any app.
Add cables from the Devices page and give them a name. Windows lists each one as a speaker and a microphone, and macOS shows it as one device with both, so games, browsers and chat apps can play into them or record from them. Four cables are free; plans go up to 30.

One setup per job, one key to switch.
A profile stores your strips, buses, routing, DSP and hotkeys. Switch from the title bar or with a global hotkey that keeps working while a game or OBS has focus.
- Hotkey actions. Toggle mute, mute or unmute, solo, fader step, route on or off, load profile, mute all outputs (panic) and ducking on or off.
- Keeps running in the background. Close the window and routing keeps running, from the tray on Windows and the menu bar on macOS. It can start with your computer.
Four actions for your Stream Deck.
The Soundweave plugin for Stream Deck 6.9 or newer controls the running mixer. Keys show the live state. On Stream Deck +, the dial changes a fader and pressing the dial or tapping the touch strip above it toggles mute; the touch strip shows the level.
The four actions control Soundweave on your PC through its local connection; the plugin opens no network port.
Bring your setup with you.
Soundweave finds saved mixer settings from other virtual audio mixers, or you pick a file (.xml). A preview lists every input, bus, route, gate, compressor and EQ it will create, and what it could not. Your original files are only read, never changed.

Dark, light, or follow your system.
Choose a theme, one of eight accent colours and an interface scale from 90 to 150 %. Meters can be segmented like hardware LEDs, or smooth. Changes apply instantly.
Quietly up to date.
Soundweave looks for a new version when it starts and once a day, and downloads it in the background. Updates are signed, and nothing installs until you restart.

Tell us exactly what you heard, and exactly what we get.
Press the button right after a glitch. Soundweave captures the current state and the last 30 seconds of its diagnostics, shows you the full list, and sends it only when you press Send.

- Sent. Your note and optional e-mail, versions and Windows version, audio settings, device and app names, and audio health counters.
- Never sent. Audio, files, your licence key, or your computer or user name.
- Kept. Reports are kept for 180 days and your IP address is not stored with them. Ask soundweave@arkbyte.dev to delete one.
Want a walkthrough instead? The Soundweave guides set up OBS, a clean microphone and podcast recording step by step.
Try it on your own setup.
